How does renting from Birchbark Party Co. work?

Browse our rental collection and submit an inquiry with your event date and details. Once we confirm availability, we’ll send you a rental agreement. Your reservation is confirmed after signing the contract and paying the non-refundable booking retainer. The remaining balance and refundable damage deposit are due 14 days before your event.
Do you offer delivery and setup?

Our rentals are designed to be DIY-friendly, and pricing reflects client pickup and return. Delivery may be available for an additional fee depending on location - just ask when you inquire.
How long is the rental period?

Standard rentals are for the full weekend with pickup on Friday and return on Monday, unless otherwise noted. Extended rental periods may be available upon request.
Do I need to sign a rental agreement?

Yes. All rentals require a signed rental agreement to confirm your booking. This helps protect both you and Birchbark Party Co. by outlining rental terms, care expectations, and return details. The agreement is simple and will be sent electronically.
What happens if something is damaged?

Normal wear and tear is expected. However, renters are responsible for loss, excessive damage, or missing pieces. Any applicable repair or replacement costs will be charged to the card provided at the time of booking.

Can rentals be used outdoors?

A small non-refundable booking retainer is required at the time of contract signing. The remaining rental balance plus a refundable damage deposit are due 14 days before your event.
The refundable damage deposit is returned after your event items are returned and inspected for damage.
Yes! We love creating bundled rentals for any type of celebration. If you’re renting multiple items, ask about custom packages to make planning easier and more cost-effective.
Birchbark Party Co. is based in Portage, Michigan, serving surrounding areas. Pickup details are shared the week of your event.

Booking retainers are non-refundable. If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll always try to work with you.
Many of our items can be used outdoors with proper care. Renters are responsible for protecting items from weather, moisture, wind, and extreme temperatures. If you’re unsure, feel free to ask before booking.
